Why hello there Mother Teresa, I mean Sister Abigail. |D
is going through some huge changes, including a stricter dress code. I completely understand. I mean, I love my darling Abigal but her previous outfit wasn't exactly period appropriate. Not that there was any GUIDELINE or DESIGNATED UNIFORM for priests or anything 
So with permission from =Betachan, I mirrored Beatrice's new duds and given my little nun an update.

Abigail likes puppies and kittens and rainbows... seriously. She likes all the good and innocent things in the world, untainted and pure. She doesn't have a soft spot for children per say but she does have an affection for them doing what children do. She's like the light and being in wide open spaces. A large field on a sunny day is her favorite place to be.
DISLIKES
She dislikes the word "hate"; she believes it's one of those strong words that once past your lips and into the world, it can never be taken back. She has an honest fear of thunder (and anything else the crashes creates loud sound) and small places; it reminds her of being under the floor. She can't stand drunks. Though she's never outwardly rude or mean to drunks, her smile is forced and she limits all contact with them (even if they are in her care). If around a person drinking for too long (too long varies on how much the other is drinking) she retreats to an out of the way place and sits in a corner with a blank stare. She shuts down.
PERSONALITY
Abigail is a genuinely sweet girl. Truly. She’s always willing to listen to others even when she has no clue what they are talking about. While being sweet, she is also quite naive. She doesn’t have much of a world view because of his childhood and then her life as a priestess, but what she lacks in knowledge she makes up with optimism and a smile. Her pokemon companion Serafina is her best friend. Period. She’ll trust her judgment over anyone else, maybe even over the Mother Superior (but don’t quote her one that). The two talk quite animatedly, and Abigail sometimes forgets there’s an audience. She deeply believes that in all people there is the potential to do good. From pickpockets to assassins, she believes they are all inherently good but that they have somehow been led stray from the path of light. She doesn’t know if she can guide anyone back, not so early in her priestess training but maybe, in time, she will be a beacon of hope. Strangely enough, Abigail doesn’t seem to possess a single angry bone in her body. She does, however become confused and weary of people that do get mad, opting for a wide-eyed look that just gives her the appearance of a doe-eyed child. She also represses event that happen that hurt and upset her. If the event is particularly bad or unpleasant, she will repress so deeply she will have no idea what you mean if you bring it up the next day.
HISTORY
Abigail had a blissful childhood. Her parents ran a carpentry shop and were respected members of the community. She was the second daughter and the youngest child of a family with two boys and two girls. She wasn’t spoiled but she was doted on by her siblings and parents. To everyone beyond the boundaries of the property, the Rousseau family was living the good life. That was until the her seventh birthday, when the her older siblings began taking on their own lives. Her brothers left to serve the kingdom as part of the military and her eldest sister went to further her life and tended to the hospital. She was alone for the first time in her life and it terrified her. That's when her mother started drinking away her sorrows. Lady Rousseau wasn’t that bad of a drunk if she was kept happy but the slightest thing set her into a rage. She threw things, screamed and sometimes even hit her husband or Abigail. In an effort to protect Abigail from these rages, Lord Rousseau hid Abigail in a crawl space under the floors and told her to be quiet and pray. From under there she heard the yelling and the crashing of throw items and the sound of a body hitting the floor sometimes. Every morning after, the family acted as if nothing happened. So Abigail did what any one would do; she repressed it. She became so used to it, as soon as she saw her mother with a goblet of wine, her mind went on autopilot and she went to the crawlspace, and the next day, spoke nothing of it. Though her sweet, upbeat attitude seemed not to have been affected, she was scared that the automatic hiding she did at the sight of someone drinking would spark questions. Thus, she was rarely seen off the family property and became known as "Rousseau's Hidden Daughter". When her brothers and sister came home for visits, Abigail never told them of how it was while they were gone. She didn't think she could. She began to feel guilty about hiding this from them and her relationship with her siblings suffered.
When she turned fourteen, an Audino had wandered into the yard and started eating the vegetables in their garden. Abigail chased it away, but only to the front gate. The next day the same Audino came back and munched on the veggies until Abigail chased it away again. The same happened everyday for a week, with Abigail chasing the pokemon to the fence and never further. One day it stopped at the threshold of the property and held its ground as Abigail tried to scare it away. She tried over and over, but it just wouldn’t move! Conflicted, Abigail and the Audino stared each other down. Then the Audino said, “Diiin” as if saying “I dare you.” To this day, Abigail felt like its blue-eyed gaze was challenging her to step away from the strained environment of her home life and step out into the world. She took that step beyond the gate. Then another and another until she was running with the Audino. Her smile became brighter and her laughter was pure. Life seemed to have light again. She named the Audino Serafina and she became her constant companion.
Years went by and the family went through some changes. Her eldest brother left the service and took over the family business, her second oldest brother was promoted in the military to a full time commander and her sister married. With finances being changed and juggled, Abigail's brother said it was time to start saving for her dowry and prepare her for marriage at seventeen. Jokingly, Lady Rousseau said no one would marry Abigail because she was knew nothing a Lady should know and that she would be better off in a nunnery. Abigail smiled and said she as probably right. Within a weeks time she and Serafina were packed and ready to go, her brother and father trying desperately to dissuade her while her mother kept eerily silent. A pleasant, disarming smile was on Abigail's face the whole time; from the carriage to the convent to her room. She smiled while crying, hugging Serafina in the dark her first night in the abbey and they prayed together until the sun rose.
ADDITIONAL INFO
- Every month a sum of money is sent to Abigail. It's from her family. She donated it all to the abbey until her brother convinced her to keep 5% for herself.
- As a Sister of Charity, she helps teach the illiterate, nurses the sick and prays for all who seek the comfort.
- She's been in priestess training for almost 2 years.
- Serafina only listens to Abigail when it comes to direction and discipline. The other priestesses do not like this. At all.
- The thought of relationships with men has rarely occurred to Abigail. It's not because of religious devotion, it's because she's NEVER really sat down and thought of it.
- On that note, Abigail doesn't know where babies come from. She believes they are a literal gift from Arceus, bestowed on a devout and patient couple to show that their God wishes to see them happy.
